Some of the screw heads are also engraved. The left water table is marked 'L174671”. The left barrel flat is marked 'L174671' and 'FULL / NP”. The right barrel flat is marked 'NP / MOD”.
The forend hardware is marked “174671”.Barrel Length: 28”Choke: The barrels are fixed choked Full and Modified as marked.Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a red fiber optic sight at the front of the solid rib. The rib is finely checkered to reduce glare.Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered walnut with capped pistol grip, straight comb and checkered black plastic Ithaca buttplate.
The stocks have some scattered light compressions and drag lines with well defined checkering. There are no chips or cracks The grip cap has little to no wear. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has very light wear, in about Fine-Excellent condition. The stocks rate in about Very Good-Fine overall condition.Type of Finish: BlueFinish Originality: OriginalBore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion.Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only a few scattered light marks. The screw heads are sharp.
The pin heads are unmarred. The markings are clear.
Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine-plus condition and would likely be Excellent but for the wear in the stocks.Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lockup is very tight.
We have not fired this shotgun. The Ithaca SKB model 100 is prized by hunters, sportsmen and even competitors in Cowboy Action Shooting for its craftsmanship and durability. This one is in Fine-plus condition and shows light wear in the stocks but little in the metal.
